Swingers grind it out! Ouch

Due to an outstanding Press Complaints judgment, on a claim by an unnamed Swinger, about gross misrepresentation and increased Editorial overview this week's match report will be significantly altered.

Mediacom's snapping dressing pitcher.
We fielded first
First Inning
  • Mediacom batting hit 4 runs. Mostly over short stop and one huge homer. We fielded well to restrict them to 4, Krusty was our outstanding fielder chipping in with a great stop at second. Our bat and the usual slow start, with only Krusty getting home, mainly due to her hard running than the batting support. Fordy, Rob and the skipper all shelled out. Their outfield looked a bit special.

Krusty gives her judgement on the size and strength of the opposition!

Second Inning

  • Mediacom where hitting well, but good outfielding restricted them to 2 runs. Krusty and Fordy combined well at 2nd Base! Our bat, Delaney got home off a Kitch right-field hit, but three straight outs after that meant we were 6 - 2 down.

Third Inning

  • Some big hitting from the opposition and a misfield in the deep let them get 4 runs. Fordy got an out at second off a Krusty throw and coach combined well with skip at 1st. Our batting finally got going, Krusty got another base hit, as did Rob, then Coach hit deep to centre right and made a hard run Homer. Becs got home on a Delaney drive and some of them not knowing the rules. 10-6

Fourth Inning
  • A shut out by Coach, with good work all round. However are batting failed again, only Fordy getting in off a Krusty base hit. Delaney took his life into is own hands by querying the Skips batting intentions. I wont repeat it for fear of swift retribution. 10-7

Mean pitching by Coach

Fifth Inning

  • A change to the pitching as Whatters stepped up, but another shut out. Krusty making a great catch at second from a Fordy throw and some tight fielding kept them out. Some good hitting and Power's coolness to get walked saw, Fish, Power, Merkin and Fordy get runs. Again Krusty brought the runs home. 10-11

'Good eyes Power!'

Sixth Inning
  • Mediacom's innings where getting repetitive, another shut out. More good work from Fordy and Whatters kept the run count low. Delaney got home from another Kitch right-field hit. I was out in unfortunate fashion at third, believing I was tagged on my way to the base. However mass confusion followed, as six different instructions where bellowed at me. Their short stop had dropped the ball in contact. Oh! F**k. Out in the end anyway. 10-12

Fordy proves all the rumours and comment by this unqualified hack to be unwarranted and unfounded.

Seventh Inning
  • Whatters pitched another shut out. Which guaranteed the win. However Krusty kept up a brilliant individual display by getting another hit and run (3 run total). Delaney got a last inning homer to bring in 3 more runs.

MVP
The Coach the home run that changed the game. Apparently Krusty doesn't need the recognition, it's enough just to know she gave 100% for the team.
