In a rain affected game, rained off last Thursday in torrential conditions, Smithy throwing the bat further than he hit the ball was the highlight of the two completed innings.
There was some discussion of where the game should begin from, in the end we got shafted and had to start already behind.
Last night, in glorious sunshine, we played like it was still pissing down. There were not enough sunglasses to go round, as we swung and missed. Some of the gloves must have big holes in.
It was a lot closer than the score might suggest. This was decided whilst dissecting the game in the best place for long deliberations - Le Chapel.

The only questions remaining is who’s going to tell Becs and how many of us will get to see Christmas with our arms intact.
