Travel Channel get a Five Star Swingers Performance

After the unspeakable performance of last week, that still makes Feddema’s blood boil, the Swingers where back on form with some new faces and the return of this old one.

Due to an enforced word limit, this match report will be sadly lacking in hyperbole.

1st Inning, Swingers to field first;

Travel Channel where out all too quickly, with Edge picking up a sharp double from short stop.

The batting, nothing spectacular off the erratic pitching from the TC, with the top 5 batters getting home.

2nd Inning,

TC post a run off to good old fashioned smacks through the infield. Guess what Edge is there for the outs.

The batting again, nice and easy, no big hits, 4 runs, but Simmo is out the second inning in a row, caught in the deep by a girl, the shame.

3rd Inning,

Another Edge double and TC score another zip.

Proximity though are out just as quick, as some of our big hitters struggle against some low pitching.

Score 1-9 after 3.

4th Inning,

Another fine fielding performance, Fedex cruelly takes advantage of a slip by her opposite number, Kazza makes a good stop in the outfield, pitcher and short stop do the rest for no score to TC

Runs, runs, runs, Edge with the homer, début Golden Boy Jimmy D gets a run too!

Score 1 – 20

5th Inning,

Things are bad for TC, no runs, easy outs, Swingers are also out quick, with lots of whooshes, but no hits. Nothing to report, appart from Delaney's sniggering at every miss from the sidelines.

6th Inning,

TC manage another run, with a couple of chipped shots, however the inning is ended by a smart bit of fielding by Fordy, even if he looked as camp as a Scissor Sister in the process.

More runs, although Simmo seems find it a challenge to miss the fielders in the deep, out again, words from the skipper surely.

7th Inning,

TC know they are beaten but they keep plugging on manfully, Krusty gets the last out with a quick stop at second and a timely throw to Edge on the base.

Robbo piles on the misery for TC with our second homer, more runs as Fordy tries to emulate Simmo’s number of outs on the night.

Final Score Travel Channel 2 – Proximity Swingers 31

Feddema aint happy though, apparently we didn’t score enough runs, Dealer Breakers scored 54 last week. Miserable B*t*h!!

Man of the Match: Edge should get it but it can’t go to the ringer, so Robbo sneaks in with 5 runs and a homer.
